We ve tried all the same atopic dermatitis creams from protopic .03%, elidel, Mimmx, Atopiclair, Eletone and nothing seems to work. I did try aloe vera and it only flaired up her face. At this point, I can only put eletone on her face and dress it with Aquaphor and a piece of gauze. Of course, I don t take her out of the house with the gauze on her face, because it would probably just scare the public. If anyone has any other drugs, please let me know. Thanks, DebMy husband has very bad eczema and has treated it for years with steroids, but 5 years ago I took him to see a doctor in France where he was prescribed something called Tinset, it is a drug that s beena round for years, has no serious side effects can be given to both children in solution format and adults tablets and I have to say within a week the difference was amazing. since then a friend whose 18 month old daughter was suffering very badly with eczema managed to get a prescription from france for tinset and her daughter has now grown out of her eczemawhilst the tinset meant that it all but disappeared. You cannot get this prescribed in the Uk as it is not licensed here.
