You should use Protopic for short or intermittent long periods of treatment. Intermittent means starting and stopping repeatedly as directed by your doctor. Protopic can be applied to all affected areas of the skin including the face and neck. Protopic should be used only to treat eczema (atopic dermatitis) that has been diagnosed by a doctor. Do not use Protopic to treat any other skin condition unless you have been told to do so by your doctor.
