Canon PROGRAF ipF6100- cost per 24x36?: Printers and Printing Forum: Digital Photography ReviewI'm looking at a Canon image PROGRAF ipF6100. I will be making 24x36" posters on the Premium SuperGloss 100' rolls ($100 per roll, so about $3 per print cost from the paper). So... if each droplet is 4 picoliters, 130ml/4pl/(1200x2400) = 11,284.72 sq. in. per tank, x12 tanks = 135,416.64 sq. in. Since a 24x36 = 864 fq. in., then 135,416/864 = 156 prints per set of inks. Is this accurate? (Obviously, no set of prints would use up exactly one set of ink tanks. It will use a lot more of certain colors vs. much less of other colors. But the ink price per print is what I'm interested in, even if it means that after my initial set of inks I was buying a lot more, say, reds and cyans, than greens or yellows.
