Hair Loss Help Forums - Rogaine, Nizoral or what?Experimental and New Hair Loss Treatments Linear : Threading : Single : Branch Hi all. I am a 29 years old male with thinning hair and receding hairline on front. It has gotten here gradually for the past few years. Only for the past few days I've looked at these forums and read reviews about the hairloss products. I am getting very confused. I wouldnt want to use anything that causes side effects. My hair is not too bad for me to go to extreeme and take combinations of products unless they are all natural and 100% safe. I would like to know if there is a product, one that I can start with that can thicken or even help with the hairline, wether is a shampoo or anything. Thank you for your reply and Good luck! Well, if you are losing hair in the front, Rogaine is pointless to use as it only helps with the back or crown of you head. I suggest a two pronged approach, one external, one internal. For external, Nizoral is a good place to start. You've gotta keep your scalp clean and free from excess oil and sebum and DHT. Second, you can make a hair rinse from REAL, natural, apple cider vinegar. Buy from a health food store - it should have crap floating in the bottom of it. Do a 1 part ACV to 3 parts water in a spray bottle (or whatever) and soak your scalp for around 10 or 15 minutes, then wash it out. This will help eat away all the crap on your scalp. For internal, you want to take a vitamin that is good for your prostate, such as Saw Palmetto, Beta Sitersol, Stinging Nettle - or sometimes you can find a combination for like 'Prostate Health'. You may also try DIM, which is a short form of a really long word. It's been shown to block the conversion of testosterone into the bad form of DHT. NONE of these things have bad side effects.
