RAZADYNE MG

Discussion Corner :: View topic - Razadyne My mom is 80 YO, primary diagnoses PD and PDD (or LBD). She did well on PD meds for some years. Razadyne was added and has helped greatly for nearly 6 years at 12 mg bid. As time passed, we D/C all PD meds except Sinemet, due to increased psychiatric symptoms. Finally, because Sinemet too seemed to create the same problems, it was also D/C. She is now on Provigil 200 mg; Razadyne 12 mg bid; baby aspirin regimen. She takes 37.5 mg Seroquel at bedtime. As her diseases have progressed, she has become more frail and doesn't ambulate, although she can feed herself with help and retains good long-term memory. Her fatigue level has risen slowly over the years. One month ago, she became markedly more fatigued in the course of two days, and sleeps many hours a day v the 8 hours at night with several short day naps common until recently She is calm but totally lacks energy. Despite severe constipation, she continues to have a decent appetite and is well-hydrated. She has had the range of tests: carotid doppler study, holter monitor, blood work ups, U/A, etc. Nothing of significance. Heart rate, blood gases, respiratory system WNL.
